In Gaza today, women are the silent anchors of a society in crisis. Displaced into overcrowded tents, they have been stripped of privacy, denied a decent shower, and left with no source of income to provide for their children. While they hold their families together under impossible conditions, they are often the last to receive support.
The Women’s Center of Hope provides a consistent sanctuary for care, connection, and opportunity—moving beyond one-time aid to build a foundation for long-term recovery.
Vision
We envision a future where women lead and shape resilient communities. We believe a woman’s internal healing is the bedrock of a family’s future; when a mother is whole, she creates the stable ground where her children move beyond survival and begin to thrive.
Our Mission
We provide a safe space for mothers, widows, caregivers, and single women to reclaim their agency. Working alongside the GCV Academies, we ensure that while children learn, women are offered a parallel path to rebuild confidence, develop skills, and secure their independence.
Our Three Zones
- A sanctuary for privacy in a landscape of displacement. Women can reclaim their dignity through a real shower, a private room to be alone, and psychosocial support to rediscover their inner strength.
- A women-led space for shared healing. We provide wellness resources and a supportive network to ensure no woman faces the journey of reconstruction alone.
- A bridge to economic leadership. We address the loss of livelihoods through vocational workshops and income-generating initiatives, helping women transform from recipients of aid into providers.
As Gaza Children’s Village expands, the Women’s Centers of Hope play a critical role in building a self sustaining ecosystem of care. By supporting women alongside children, these centers help ensure that stability extends beyond classrooms and into homes and communities for the long term.
