When her business took a pause, baking slipped out of her daily life, but never out of her plans.

At the Women’s Center in Khan Younis, Nour began looking at the project again from a different angle. The entrepreneurship and planning courses she took pushed her beyond the recipes themselves and into the questions that decide whether a small business can last: what she needs to restart, how to organize the work, and how to manage it more carefully this time.

That mattered as Nour was not searching for an idea. She already had one that had aced it once before.

Now she is about to get back to baking gradually, carrying with her both the experience she had before and a clearer sense of how she wants to run the business when it begins again.

For Nour, returning to baking means more than bringing back a familiar skill. It means bringing work, purpose, and income back into a part of her life where they once belonged.
