Her small business used alternative energy to offer things people around her actually needed: a place to charge their phones, cold water, and fresh juice. It was simple and practical, as it brought income into her home.

Then her business took a pause.

Maysa still had the experience, and she never really let go of the idea. What became harder was figuring out how to bring it back under very different circumstances.

That question followed her into the Women’s Centre in Khan Younis.

During the entrepreneurship course, she began going over the business again, this time with more attention to what could stay, what needed to change, and what people around her needed now. She was not looking for a new idea. She already had one that had worked.

Maysa is now trying to restart the business gradually, returning to phone charging, cold water, and juice while using what she learned at the center to rethink how she runs it.

For her, starting again does not mean starting from nothing. The experience is still hers. So is the idea.

She is going the extra mile on giving it another chance.
