Short Term Relief

Short Term Relief is our rapid response work across Gaza. When families face immediate gaps in warmth, food, shelter basics, or emergency supplies, we mobilize quickly through trusted local teams and humanitarian partners to deliver practical support.

Winter Coat Distrubtion

In partnership with All Hands and Hearts, GCV carried out a large scale winter relief campaign, distributing more than 2,500 winter coats to students across our academy network.

The distribution began with female students and continues with male students to ensure that every child is protected from harsh winter conditions. As shared by teaching staff on the ground, access to proper winter clothing significantly improves attendance, health stability, and children’s ability to concentrate in class.

Today, winter jackets were distributed to the female students, and we will complete the distribution to the male students tomorrow. Their joy was indescribable and beyond measure. It was beyond imagination. I don’t think the pictures can capture the immense happiness in their hearts. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, thank you from their warm little hearts, and from us, the teaching staff, and the students’ parents

Maternal and Infant Support

GCV distributes essential female hygiene and sanitary products to protect women’s health and restore privacy in conditions of displacement.

We also provide:

• Baby formula, including regular and specialty formula for infants with medical needs
• Nutritional supplements for newborns
• Vitamins and postnatal support items for new mothers
• Sanitary products and hygiene kits delivered in partnership with trusted humanitarian organizations

These interventions protect the most vulnerable at the earliest stages of life, reducing preventable illness and strengthening maternal resilience.
