About Us

Why the Gaza Children Village?

In Gaza, children were surviving each day without knowing what the next one would bring, where they would learn, or who would still be there to care for them. When Dr. David Hasan was working as a physician in Gaza, treating children injured by war, he saw that what was breaking children most deeply was not only trauma, but the absence of stability that allows healing to take hold.

The Gaza Children Village was founded in April 2025 in response to that reality, to create places children could return to every day, supported by the same teachers, caregivers, and medical teams. Through our initiatives, we provide daily education, meals, healthcare, and trauma-informed psychosocial support, offering continuity, dignity, and care in environments designed to endure even under the most difficult conditions.
